Zimbabwe in Dhaka to play T20I tri-series

Zimbabwe national cricket team arrived in Dhaka early on Monday to play with Bangladesh and Afghanistan in the T20I tri-series – beginning from September 13.

Hamilton Masakadza and his team landed in Dhaka around 2:00am.

Bangladesh and Afghanistan are now playing their one-off Test in Chattogram from September 5 to 9.

They along with Zimbabwe will play the tri-series from September 13 to 24.

The double-league phase will be played in Dhaka and Chattogram, with the final to be held in Dhaka on September 24.

Zimbabwe will contest the T20 tri-series minus their experienced allrounder, Sikandar Raza.

While announcing a 15-man squad for the series on September 6, Zimbabwe Cricket said “the selectors have opted to leave out Sikandar Raza over pending disciplinary issues raised by the captain”.
